The short version: Navy PRT Calculator does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. Everything stays on your device.
1. Who We Are
Navy PRT Calculator is developed and published by DahVio Studios, a solo developer studio based in Long Beach, California, operated by Ray (ray@dahvio.com).
2. Data We Do Not Collect
Navy PRT Calculator does not collect any of the following:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone, address)
- Health or fitness data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Any information whatsoever
3. Local Storage
The app saves your last entered values (age, gender, event selections, and performance inputs) to your device's local storage via iOS's standard UserDefaults system. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not accessible to DahVio Studios or any third party
- Can be cleared at any time by deleting the app
4. No Internet Connection Required
Navy PRT Calculator operates entirely offline. The app makes no network requests of any kind. All scoring logic is computed locally on your device using hardcoded tables derived from OPNAVINST 6110.1J.
5. No Third-Party SDKs or Analytics
Navy PRT Calculator does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting frameworks. There are no SDKs from Google, Facebook, Firebase, or any other provider embedded in the app.
6. Children's Privacy
Navy PRT Calculator is intended for active duty Navy personnel and fitness assessment candidates. The app is rated 9+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
7. App Store Data Practices
While DahVio Studios collects no data, Apple may collect certain app usage data as part of normal App Store operations. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on their data practices.
8. Changes to This Policy
If our data practices ever change, this policy will be updated with a new effective date and noted in the app's release notes. Given the offline, no-tracking nature of this app, material changes are unlikely.
