Week 1: Build the baseline
Figure out what already feels familiar and what clearly does not.
- Skim the AFH-1 sections that will drive most of your review.
- Run a short mixed quiz or quick drill to get an honest starting point.
- Do one dedicated SJT block and note why your misses happened.
Week 2: Lock in a rhythm
Choose the study cadence you can repeat when life gets busy.
- Two AFH-1 review sessions focused on weak sections.
- Three short flashcard or quiz sessions.
- One SJT session with notes on leadership themes.
Week 3: Start second-pass review
Revisit the sections that did not stick the first time.
- Review flagged concepts instead of rereading everything.
- Run timed question sets to improve recall speed.
- Keep SJT separate so judgment patterns stay visible.
Week 4: Audit the weak areas
Midpoint is where the study plan should tighten up.
- List the AFH-1 topics that still feel shaky.
- Check whether your misses come from knowledge gaps or rushing.
- Repeat the same SJT categories until the patterns make sense.
Week 5: Increase pressure
Do longer sets and reduce how often you pause to look things up.
- One longer mixed drill or practice test.
- AFH-1 review only for sections that still cause misses.
- One focused SJT session on least-effective answers.
Week 6: Tighten recall
This week is about retrieval, not endless rereading.
- Use flashcards and section drills more than passive notes.
- Practice explaining key concepts out loud.
- Run SJT sets without second-guessing every item.
Week 7: Simulate test rhythm
Build comfort with the pace and mental switching.
- Use timed quizzes or exam mode if available.
- Review flagged and missed questions in one batch.
- Do a final targeted SJT block on the weakest competency area.
Week 8: Calm, sharpen, repeat
The last week should feel controlled, not panicked.
- Review summaries, flagged notes, and weak areas only.
- Keep daily sessions short and intentional.
- Do one final SJT pass focused on judgment and professionalism.
